The ceremony will take place at 4:00 pm on Friday, August 19th at St. Joseph Cathedral on 50 Franklin Street in Buffalo, New York, 14202.

The reception will begin at 5:30 pm at The Hotel at the Lafayette on 391 Washington Street in Buffalo, New York, 14203.

Reservations for hotel rooms are available at The Hotel at the Lafayette.  Please mention that you are reserving with the Bertlesman Cooper wedding.

We have spent a lot of weekends exploring our city and hope that during your visit to downtown Buffalo for our wedding, you can find some time to fall in the love with the city we call our home.

Public House Coffee

In the lobby of The Hotel at the Lafayette as well as on Grant Street you will find Public House Coffee.  A local roaster and brewer, whose coffee is some of the only reason this wedding was planned at all.

Teddy Roosevelt Inaugural Site

Once a month, we gathered with friends and family to play TRiva: a night a trivia of all kinds at the building where Teddy Roosevelt was inaugurated.  You will also find some of Teddy’s animal friends in the Pan-American Grill inside of the The Hotel at the Lafayette.

Canalside Buffalo

We spend some Saturdays walking canal side, enjoying one of Buffalo’s waterfronts, or relaxing in one of the ridiculously colored Adirondack chairs.  This is the spot you should see before you leave our city.  Check out the infamously strange Shark Girl statue, paddle boat, or water bike on the canal that made Buffalo great.

We got engaged in a hot air balloon that launched from a field at SUNY Geneseo, where we met. When we went in a student Facebook group to ask if anyone saw us, we got a huge response from current students who had taken pictures.
